Rouen
The ship pulls into Rouen, Normandy's capital, and you'll get your first look at this historic city. Spend the day walking around and taking in the medieval character of the place.

Another full day in Rouen gives you the chance to explore at your own speed. You'll want to see the Big Clock again if you didn't catch it yesterday, check out the medieval architecture scattered throughout, and just wander the streets. There's plenty of history packed into this Normandy capital.

Rouen to Le Havre
The ship heads downstream from Rouen toward Le Havre, arriving at this major Normandy port where the Seine meets the water. Once you dock, you can check out the UNESCO World Heritage historic centre, which has a lot worth seeing if you want to venture off the ship.

You'll have the full day to explore Le Havre at this mouth of the Seine. The UNESCO World Heritage historic centre is a good place to start, and the port city itself has several attractions to keep you busy. By evening you'll head back to the ship before departing.

Caudebec-en-Caux
Early in the day you'll arrive in Caudebec-en-Caux, a small charming town in one of France's greener regions. The place is known for its flower-filled gardens and historic buildings, including the Church of Notre Dame and the Templar House. You'll have until evening to look around before the ship departs.

The highlight here is visiting Claude Monet's house and gardens in nearby Giverny, where you'll see the water lilies and pond that inspired so many of his paintings.
