  Great whistle stop tour of Turkey. Busy itinerary but expected given we were only there for 8 days, the communication from Yagiz in the office was superb so we always knew what the schedule was for the next day. Highly recommend the hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia – it is everything you think it will be and more! Overall, the accommodation was good but breakfasts were a bit hit and miss (except for Arte Cave Hotel – that was amazing!) and transport / guides were good. Definitely recommend this format if you only have limited time in Turkey.

  Overall the tour was a positive experience, but unfortunately, some of the organisation aspects of the tour were lacking. - On arrival at Istanbul airport, it took 45 minutes to get into our transfer van. We were told to sit and wait just outside the airport. Driver asked us to confirm hotel location. - Istanbul tour. As this was a Sunday there was no Grand Bazaar which we were not informed of. All other people on the tour had lunch included, but we didn’t. - Unnecessarily early flight the next morning to Cappadocia - easily could have been the evening before. No breakfast provided before the flight, even after it was requested and a breakfast pack confirmed. - We asked to change our Wednesday flight (on Monday) to the afternoon from Cappadocia to Izmir, due to Tuesday balloon flight being cancelled. They were helpful and rebooked our flight and transfers. We found the company extremely slow in trying to secure another balloon flight for Wednesday therefore missing out, although in the end it was cancelled anyway. - Company fast in responding to questions and concerns - Not advised on the cost of entrance fees until after fully paid and secured. ENTRANCE FEES ARE HIGH. We were told to bring euros and cash only, but all areas would only take Turkish Lira and they allowed card payments. The tours, tour guides, standard of hotels and other people we met along the way made an enjoyable and informative week in Turkey.

  Day 2 - There wasn't much activities and we could have gone to Cappadocia instead of taking the 05.55 flight the next day Day 3 - We arrive at the hotel early and the rooms are not ready until 12:00 and the Hotel reception was a just a small room and the weather was very hot. Day 5 - No activities just waiting for the flight to Izmir

  We had a dozen of questions before we booked a tour with City of Sultan. They have been nothing but prompt and accommodating in making sure the tour goes well with the rest our holiday itinerary. We get updates on flights and pick up times which made the transfer really easy, more so if you are a solo traveler who needs a reliable operator. The tour itself was adequate and feels like it touched the essentials. The tour group was not big and so it didn’t feel rushed. Hotels and vans were decent and the guides were okay. Special mention to online tour correspondent Yagiz who managed to make last minute adjustments to our plans. We missed our chance to a balloon flight in Cappadocia due to strong winds and decided to forfeit two days of our trip and stay back. He arranged for hotel pick up and transfers to make sure we catch up with the tour and that was something you don’t really expect tour operators would do.

  The tour was great with hotels in excellent locations. The buffet food options could’ve been better during the Ephesus tour but otherwise everything was pretty smooth and well planned.

  I had an amazing experience on the 8-Day Discover Turkey Tour with City of Sultans. The itinerary was perfectly paced and covered all the must-see highlights, from the majestic Hagia Sophia and vibrant Grand Bazaar in Istanbul to the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia and the ancient ruins of Ephesus and Pamukkale. The hotels were comfortable and well-located, especially the cave hotel in Cappadocia, which was a unique treat. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly organized. The Skip-the-Line tickets made sightseeing so much smoother, and the included flights between regions saved time and hassle. Everything was seamless thanks to the 24/7 support from the City of Sultans team. I felt well taken care of throughout the trip.   This 8-day tour with City of Sultans was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived in Istanbul, everything was perfectly organized. Each destination including Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Kusadasi, and Pamukkale had its own unique charm, and the itinerary was thoughtfully planned with a great mix of guided exploration and free time. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and brought the history of each location to life. Visiting iconic sites like Hagia Sophia, the underground cities of Cappadocia, and the ancient city of Ephesus was unforgettable. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, and all transfers and domestic flights were smooth and on schedule. City of Sultans provided excellent support throughout the trip, making the whole experience seamless and stress free.   This tour is fantastic! My entire trip was a dream and all details were so beautifully planned out. I don't think I could've picked better hotels for the whole trip. I would 100% recommend this tour for anyone considering a trip to Turkey. There is plenty of downtime each day to do your own thing on top of comprehensive tours that cover major sights. The communication between the company and you is fast and effective for all your needs. Thank you so much for helping my dream trip come true!

  This tour was a fantastic way to explore some of Turkey’s most iconic and breathtaking locations without the stress of planning. From day one, everything was thoughtfully arranged, including airport pickups, domestic flights, and daily tours. Each destination had something special to offer. Istanbul’s history was captivating, Cappadocia felt like stepping onto another planet with the hot air balloon ride being a major highlight, and exploring Ephesus and Pamukkale was like walking through living history and natural beauty. The itinerary was well-paced, giving us enough time to enjoy each site without feeling rushed.
