Itinerary
- Day 1
White River to KaMsholo Bushveld Safaris
You'll leave White River and head across into Eswatini at Jeppe's Reef border post, then drive into Malolotja Nature Reserve where a guide takes you on a walk to Nsangwini Rock Art Site. From there you can see out over the Komati River Gorge. After that, stop by Mabuda Coffee Farm to see how coffee goes from crop to cup before continuing on to KaMsholo Bushveld Safaris. Check in at Tinsele Rest Camp and have dinner outside under the stars.

KaMsholo to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary
Following breakfast, head northwest through Eswatini's craft region and spend time at Swazi Candles Craft Market in Malkerns Valley looking at handcrafted candles, textiles, and curios. Then move on to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary where you'll stay in a traditional beehive hut. The rest of the afternoon is yours to spend however you want, whether that's doing forest walks, cycling, birdwatching, or just hanging out by the watering hole.

Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary to White River
After breakfast you'll leave Mlilwane and stop at Ngwenya Glass Factory to watch artisans work with recycled glass and create handcrafted pieces. Then cross back into South Africa at Josefsdal (Bulembu) Border Post and drive the Barberton Geo Trail through the Makhonjwa Mountains. You'll stop at several interpretation points that explain the 3.5 billion-year-old rock formations, with short walks and views at each spot. By evening you're back at Muluwa Lodge near White River.
