You'll start at Muluwa Lodge and drive north on the Panorama Route toward Hoedspruit, passing through towns like Sabie and Graskop along the way. Stop at Three Rondavels Viewpoint for lunch where you can look out over the Blyde River Canyon. Later you'll reach your lodge-style accommodation in the Hoedspruit area and settle in for dinner after experiencing the day's highland scenery and mountain views.

After breakfast, head north from Hoedspruit into Limpopo's remote hill country, traveling through quiet rural villages and mopane woodland on gravel roads. You'll drive deeper into less traveled territory toward the Pafuri Gate area, one of Kruger's most isolated sections. By early afternoon you'll arrive at your lodge situated among ancient baobabs and rocky outcrops, where you can explore the region's cultural heritage before enjoying dinner surrounded by lanterns and wilderness sounds.

Pafuri to Shingwedzi
This morning you enter Kruger National Park through the remote Pafuri Gate and see Crooks Corner where three countries meet, surrounded by lush floodplains and frontier history. The drive takes you through landscapes with giant baobabs and fever trees, ideal for photography and birdwatching. You'll have a relaxed picnic lunch at a dam or scenic spot and watch wildlife at the water's edge, then continue south through the Shingwedzi region. By late afternoon you reach a SANParks rest camp for starlit dinner under African skies.

Elephant herds gather and predators rest in shade as you journey south through increasingly biodiverse zones. Brunch or lunch at a rest camp gives you time to refuel. By mid-afternoon you reach southern Kruger known for high wildlife density and regular Big Cat sightings, followed by a sunset game drive and final bush braai dinner.

Southern Kruger to Mjejane Game Reserve
The morning starts with an early game drive through southern Kruger's reaches in golden light toward Crocodile Bridge for brunch or lunch. Continue to Malelane Gate soaking in every moment of this wilderness. After exiting the park, a short transfer takes you to Mjejane Game Reserve, a private concession within the Greater Kruger ecosystem. Check into your tented camp and enjoy a celebratory boma dinner under the stars with lanterns and crackling fire. Around 8pm, join an optional private game drive in an open safari vehicle with expert trackers if you wish.

Mjejane Game Reserve to Muluwa Lodge
Start with an optional early morning guided walk led by a qualified ranger for about 2 hours, tracking animal spoor and learning about medicinal plants and small details you'd miss from a vehicle. Large groups may split into two departures. Return to camp for light breakfast and relax while reflecting on your journey and sharing final stories. By late morning, depart Mjejane in a closed vehicle for the return drive to Muluwa Lodge, arriving between 12:00 and 13:00 with time to catch a flight or enjoy leisure time at the lodge.
