Dolceacqua
Head to Menton on the French Riviera near the Italian border. You'll walk through streets lined with pastel-colored houses and see the 17th century Basilica of Saint-Michel. From there, you'll cross back into Italy to check out medieval Dolceacqua, two villages connected by an old stone bridge.

Portofino
If you opt in, this excursion takes you to Santa Margherita on the Italian Riviera, then by boat to exclusive Portofino (depending on weather). You'll walk through charming streets to the Church of St Giorgio near the harbor and grab a coffee at a waterfront café with views of the bay.

This optional tour takes you to Nice, the chic capital of the French Riviera.
