Arrival
You'll make your own way to Hotel Villa Cappugi this evening, where your Holiday Director will be waiting for a welcome meeting. Dinner is included, so you can settle in and meet the other travelers on the trip.

Chianti
Starting at Badia a Passignano Monastery, you'll walk 6 km through the Chianti region. The route takes you past vineyards and olive groves, through small villages and farmhouses until you reach Vicchiomaggio Castle. There you'll tour the cellars, do a Chianti tasting, and have light lunch on a terrace with views across the Tuscan countryside.

Florence
You'll walk 10 km through Florence starting from Piazzale Michelangelo, which sits on a hilltop and gives you great city views from the start. On your way down to the city centre, you'll pass a fine Romanesque church and the Porcellino covered market among other hidden spots. The afternoon is free, so you can grab lunch and do some shopping at your own pace.

- Day 4
Optional Mountain Trek
Today is free to relax at the hotel, or you can join an optional advanced trek in the mountains north of Pistoia. If you go, you'll take a cable car to Doganaccia at about 1,500 metres elevation, then walk through meadows and mountain pastures to Scaffaiolo lake. Lunch features traditional mountain food like polenta with sausages or mushrooms and cheese. On the way back, there's a suspension bridge that's one of the world's longest, which you can cross if you want to.

Vinci
You have a free day to relax at the hotel or explore on your own. There's also an optional walk from Fornello to Vinci, Leonardo da Vinci's birthplace. If you go, you'll check out the hilltop town and visit the museum dedicated to Leonardo's work, where models bring his drawings and ideas to life.

Medici Villa and Carmignano
Today focuses on the Medici family's history and their rise to power during the Renaissance in Florence. You'll walk 8 km to the Medici Villa of Poggio a Caiano, then head to Carmignano, a medieval town in the Montalbano hills. There's free time in Carmignano if you'd like to stop for lunch before heading back.

Lucca
You have a free day at leisure, or you can join an optional excursion to Lucca, a medieval fortified town. The walk takes you along the impressive walls, and you'll get great views of the town and the surrounding area.
