- Day 1
Arrival and First Exploration
Pick up your rental car and drive toward the mountains at whatever pace feels right. Stop at viewpoints along the way to take in the scenery. Before checking in, you can swing by Lago di Caldonazzo and Lago di Levico in the Valsugana Valley, where you'll find nice walking routes or hiking trails around the lakes if you're in the mood.

Ortisei - Val di Funes
Drive to the mountain town of Ortisei in the Dolomites, which has charming traditional architecture and dramatic peak views. From there, continue to Val di Funes, one of South Tyrol's beautiful valleys with spectacular Dolomite scenery and small Alpine villages. You'll spend the day walking around this blend of mountain landscape and quiet terrain.

- Day 3
Seceda and Val Gardena Valley
Spend your time exploring Seceda and the Val Gardena Valley. You'll see dramatic rocky peaks, wide Alpine pastures, and panoramic views throughout the day. The area lets you experience the mountain setting and learn about the local Ladin culture of South Tyrol.

- Day 4
Tre Cime di Lavaredo
Hike the circuit around Tre Cime di Lavaredo, one of the famous trails in the Dolomites with its three iconic rock peaks. The roughly 10 km route takes 4 to 5 hours and shows off different mountain landscapes, a WWI memorial chapel, mountain huts, and dramatic rock formations along the way.

- Day 5
Catinaccio (Rosengarten) and Pozza di Fassa
Head into the Catinaccio mountain massif, known for dramatic limestone peaks, beautiful meadows, and via ferratas that let you feel like a true mountaineer. The hike is moderately difficult. After that, you can relax at the QC Terme Dolomiti wellness center or check out Pozza di Fassa and try some local food.

- Day 6
Lago di Braies and Val di Funes
Start with a leisurely walk around Lago di Braies, one of the most well-known lakes in the Alps with its green-colored water. Then move to Val di Funes to see views of the Geisler/Odle mountain range that look like postcards. By evening, head to QC Terme Dolomiti spa to relax after your day.

- Day 7
Cinque Torri
Travel to one of the beautiful areas in the Dolomites. Hike a circular route from Rifugio Col Gallina, passing through Lago Limides and climbing to Monte Averau before reaching Cinque Torri. The trail has many panoramic views and remnants of WWI history scattered throughout.

- Day 8
Lago di Sorapiss
Hike to Lago di Sorapiss, one of the beautiful lakes in the Dolomites, known for its turquoise color. The trail starts at Passo Tre Croci and goes through gentle forest terrain before gradually climbing higher. Some narrow and exposed sections with ropes add an adventurous element to this scenic hike.

Departure
Your final day moves at a relaxed pace, letting you experience the natural beauty one more time before heading home. If time allows, stop at Lago di Dobbiaco (Toblacher See), a nice lake between the Dolomites and Val Pusteria valley. Have breakfast with views of the mountains reflected in the water as a calm ending to your trip.
