- Day 1
Paris to Rouen
After picking up your rental car, you'll drive to Rouen, the capital of Normandy. Once there, spend time walking through the medieval city center to see the Gothic cathedral and half-timbered houses that line the streets. If you've got some daylight left, grab dinner at one of the local restaurants before settling in for the night.

Head to Veules-les-Roses to check out the rose gardens, then visit the Château de Sissi. Later, make your way to Fécamp to see the famous Bénédictine distillery. Lunch and dinner involve trying fresh seafood and other local dishes at various stops along the route.

Start by visiting one of Normandy's best fish markets, then tour a Calvados distillery to learn about the production process. Afterward, taste different Norman cheeses at a local producer. Before the day ends, walk through the historic town of Lisieux and see its basilica.

Today focuses on cheese, cider, and horses in the Norman countryside. You'll spend time at a family farm to relax, see apple orchards, and taste traditional cider. In the afternoon, visit France's top stud farm to watch dressage demonstrations. After that, head to the village known for Camembert cheese and tour a cheese dairy. End your day at a fairytale castle with half-timbered buildings.
