  1. Day 1

    Paris to Rouen

    After picking up your rental car, you'll drive to Rouen, the capital of Normandy. Once there, spend time walking through the medieval city center to see the Gothic cathedral and half-timbered houses that line the streets. If you've got some daylight left, grab dinner at one of the local restaurants before settling in for the night.

  2. Day 2

    Rouen - Normandy Coastal Route

    Today you'll drive along Normandy's coastline, stopping at several villages and attractions throughout the day. Head to Veules-les-Roses to check out the rose gardens, then visit the Château de Sissi. Later, make your way to Fécamp to see the famous Bénédictine distillery. Lunch and dinner involve trying fresh seafood and other local dishes at various stops along the route.

    Alabaster Coast - Étretat

    You'll explore the Alabaster Coast with its white chalk cliffs and small villages. Walk the clifftop trails that offer views of the ocean below, then head to the Jardins d'Etretat to see the avant-garde gardens. Later, check out the black cliffs at Falaises des Vaches Noires. By lunch and dinner, you'll have chances to try fresh oysters and seafood at local spots.

    This morning, you'll head inland toward the Pays d'Auge region with its green fields and Norman villages. Start by visiting one of Normandy's best fish markets, then tour a Calvados distillery to learn about the production process. Afterward, taste different Norman cheeses at a local producer. Before the day ends, walk through the historic town of Lisieux and see its basilica.

Visit traditional farms and family-run distilleries to try different ciders and Calvados throughout the day. Stop at local markets to pick up fresh farm products, then explore the Château de Crèvecoeur. The day includes learning about how local farmers grow and process apples.

    Today focuses on cheese, cider, and horses in the Norman countryside. You'll spend time at a family farm to relax, see apple orchards, and taste traditional cider. In the afternoon, visit France's top stud farm to watch dressage demonstrations. After that, head to the village known for Camembert cheese and tour a cheese dairy. End your day at a fairytale castle with half-timbered buildings.
