- Day 1
Paris to Rouen
After picking up your rental car, you'll drive to Rouen, the capital of Normandy. Once there, spend time walking through the medieval city center to see the Gothic cathedral and half-timbered houses that line the streets. If you've got some daylight left, grab dinner at one of the local restaurants before settling in for the night.

Head to Veules-les-Roses to check out the rose gardens, then visit the Château de Sissi. Later, make your way to Fécamp to see the famous Bénédictine distillery. Lunch and dinner involve trying fresh seafood and other local dishes at various stops along the route.

End your day at a fairytale castle with half-timbered buildings.
