- Day 1
Rome to Cerveteri
You'll arrive at Fiumicino Airport and make your way toward your accommodation, but first there's a stop in Cerveteri. Here you'll see the ancient Etruscan Necropolis Banditaccia, a UNESCO World Heritage site where monumental tombs are carved directly into the rock. The nearby Necropoli del Laghetto is also worth checking out. After wandering Cerveteri's local streets, you can visit the town museum and the Ruspoli fortress. If there's time before evening, the sandy beaches near Ladispoli offer a nice spot to relax before you settle in.

Anguillara Sabazia - Trevignano Romano
This is a quieter day spent on the beach at IL GAZEBO STABILIMENTO SUL LAGO FOOD&DRINK near Anguillara Sabazia. The medieval town sits right on Lake Bracciano's shores with narrow streets and nice views of the water. Later in the evening, you'll head to nearby Trevignano Romano (locals call it 'Little Paris') and grab an aperitif at a lakeside restaurant. As the sun sets, the sky turns golden and pink, making it a good time to just sit and take it in.

Calcata - Valle del Treja Park
Start with a trip to Monte Gelato waterfalls where you can hear the water rushing and take in the natural surroundings. From there, you'll go to Calcata Vecchia, a village with winding streets and an interesting atmosphere where houses are actually built into the rock itself. Local artisan workshops line the area. If you're up for it, there's trekking along the river through Valle del Treja Park. In Bracciano you'll find plenty of restaurants, bars, and local shops to walk through. The Orsini-Odescalchi Castle is the main draw here with its fortress structure and lake views (it's also a popular wedding venue). Grab an aperitif at Birreria Dar Toro Seduto where they serve local cheeses and cured meats. In the afternoon, take a 1.5-hour circular boat trip departing from Molo Trevignano Romano. From the water you'll see Anguillara, Trevignano, and Bracciano from a different angle.

After that, check out the medieval town of Caprarola and Villa Farnese, which has notable architecture and a famous world map mural inside. If you want more time by water, Lake Bolsena is a large volcanic lake located nearby and worth considering.
