Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi Old Quarter Street Food Tour
You'll spend the morning walking through Hanoi's Old Quarter with a local guide who knows the area well. Over three hours, you'll hit about 5 or 6 food stalls and small family kitchens tucked into the narrow alleys. Along the way, you'll try pho from a place that's been serving it the same way for years, then move on to banh xeo, those crispy pancakes that locals fold up and wrap in fresh herbs. After that, you'll grab egg coffee, which is exactly what it sounds like and tastes nothing like regular coffee. The guide walks you through the winding streets and busy local markets, pointing out the vendors and explaining what each dish means to Hanoians and how people actually eat here. It's not just about tasting food, but understanding the stories and traditions behind each meal.
