Chamonix
You'll arrive in Chamonix, the famous ski hub at the foot of Mont Blanc. Since arrival times vary, there's nothing scheduled this afternoon, so you can wander the pedestrian-friendly streets of this charming town with centuries of history. Tonight you'll join the group for a toast to kick off your alpine adventure.

Annecy - Chamonix
You head to Annecy, often called the 'Venice of the Alps' for its charm. A local guide walks you through the medieval old town with its canals, bridges, and pastel-colored houses. You'll have free time to browse the vibrant outdoor market before heading back to Chamonix for a relaxing evening.

Chamonix
Today you pick your Mont Blanc experience. Take the cable car up the Aiguille du Midi to over 12,600 feet for the closest view to Europe's tallest peak, or ride the vintage Tramway du Mont Blanc rack-railway to the Eagle's Nest at 7,782 feet. After your morning adventure, you'll take an afternoon stroll through the valley woods.

You leave Chamonix and France behind, heading into Switzerland. At Barryland, you'll learn about the St. Bernard dog and the foundation's conservation work. An afternoon train ride on the scenic GoldenPass takes you through pastoral Swiss landscapes to Gstaad, where you'll check in and have dinner.

Gstaad to Grindelwald
You travel through the alpine meadows of the Bernese Oberland. At an artisanal creamery, you'll see how raclette cheese is made and have brunch with local produce. Later you head to Grindelwald at the base of Mount Eiger for a two-night stay. The evening is yours to relax.

Walk through the Ice Palace with its carved icy art or take photos at the famous Swiss flag marker. The evening is yours to enjoy.

Seefeld
This morning you explore Seefeld by horse-drawn carriage, taking in the Tyrolean mountains and forests. The afternoon is free, or you can choose an optional excursion into Germany to visit Oberammergau, home of the world-famous Passion Play. That tour includes the theatre, the traditionally painted Bavarian village, and homemade Tyrolean cuisine.

An optional evening stroll is available after dinner.
