Itinerary
- Day 1
Rio de Janeiro
You'll arrive in Rio de Janeiro and get settled into your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to do what you want, whether that's taking a walk around the city or just relaxing after your flight.
- Day 2
Rio de Janeiro
Morning is free for you to do your own thing. In the afternoon, you'll drive along Ipanema and Copacabana beaches heading toward Sugarloaf Mountain. From there, a cable car takes you to the summit where you'll get views across the city. Later, you'll join other travelers for caipirinhas and a private cocktail party up on top of the mountain to kick off your trip.

Rio de Janeiro
A cog railway brings you up Corcovado Mountain to see the Christ the Redeemer statue, with 360-degree views of Rio spread out below. After that, you'll head downtown to check out the Sambodromo and Cathedral. Your afternoon is free to wander around and see more of the city. For dinner, you'll go to a churrascaria for Brazilian-style barbecued meat, which is a big deal here.

- Day 5
Rio de Janeiro to Iguassu Falls
You'll fly from Rio to Iguassu Falls and enter Brazil's Iguassu National Park with a local guide. From the Brazilian side, you'll see the panorama of these massive waterfalls stretching for about two miles, with some dropping 250 feet. You'll feel the spray and hear the roar as you walk through the tropical growth surrounding the falls.

Iguassu Falls (Argentine Side)
By motorcoach, you'll cross the border into Argentina to see the falls from their side. You'll walk on catwalks perched right at the top for thrilling views looking down, then take trails through the rainforest below to get closer to the smaller cataracts. After all that, you'll head back to your hotel with the rest of the day free.

Iguassu Falls to Buenos Aires
You'll cross by motorcoach into Argentina again and head to Cataratas del Iguazu International Airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Once you land, you'll get your bearings in the city, checking out its wide boulevards and outdoor cafes that give it that Paris-like feel.

- Day 8
Buenos Aires
A walking tour takes you through La Boca, the old port district, then over to San Telmo with its colonial buildings and artist scene. You'll see Plaza de Mayo and the Cathedral, and pass by the fancy Teatro Colón opera house on your way to Recoleta Cemetery where Eva Perón is buried. After that, you'll take a hands-on cooking class to make empanadas. The afternoon is free, then evening brings a tango lesson at a local dance house followed by a farewell dinner with Argentine steaks and a professional tango show.

You'll head out into the pampas grasslands to an actual working Argentine ranch. After a traditional welcome with empanadas and local drinks, a carriage ride takes you through the pampas to learn how gauchos live. At lunch, you'll have Argentine beef with salad and dessert, plus live gaucho music and dancing. The gauchos put on an equestrian demonstration before you head back to the city.
