Grab breakfast at your hotel in Guatemala City, then head to the airport for your flight to Flores. This jungle town sits in the Petén region and serves as your base for exploring Mayan ruins. You'll get settled at the hotel this evening, with dinner on your own schedule.

Flores
Today you'll take a guided tour through the Tikal archaeological site. By afternoon you'll be back in Flores with free time to either relax or swim in Lake Petén Itzá. Dinner is whenever you'd like.

Flores to Lanquin
A private vehicle takes you from Flores to Lanquin, a small town in Alta Verapaz that's known as the gateway to Semuc Champey. After you settle in, you'll have free time by the pool. The nearby Lanquin Caves are there if you want to check them out before dusk to see the bats emerge.

Lanquin
You'll visit Semuc Champey today with its tiered turquoise pools formed by a limestone bridge over the Rio Cahabon. After that you'll head back to Lanquin for the rest of the day to relax however you'd like.

Lanquin to Panajachel
You're heading to Lake Atitlán and stopping at Chichicastenango Market along the way. It's one of the largest indigenous markets in the region, giving you a real look at Mayan culture and daily Guatemalan life. Spend time browsing and shopping, then continue on to Panajachel. Get settled and have dinner at your own pace.

Panajachel
This is a full day on Lake Atitlán with boat views of volcanoes and small villages scattered around. You'll do a cultural tour of San Juan la Laguna to shop for colorful textiles and paintings from local artists. Lunch happens at a G Adventure-supported community spot. You'll get back to Panajachel early evening with free time after.
