Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive in Australia with hotel check-in ready to go. Early check-in is available if you need it, so you can get settled without waiting for a standard afternoon time.
- Day 2
Sydney
After a welcome briefing to meet your Tour Director and other passengers, you'll head out to see Sydney's iconic spots. The Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House are on the agenda, and you'll go inside the Opera House to learn about its history and design. Later you'll take a cruise along Sydney Harbour to catch views of the city skyline from the water.

Sydney
Today is yours to spend however you'd like. You could walk through the cobblestone streets of the Rocks district, check out vibrant Darling Harbour, or climb to the top of Sydney's Harbour Bridge if you're feeling adventurous. Your Tour Director has suggestions if you want help deciding what to do.

Sydney to Cairns
You'll fly to Cairns, which sits between lush rainforests, dramatic peaks, and the ocean. It's known as the Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the rest of your day is free to settle in and explore at your own pace.

Great Barrier Reef
This morning you board a catamaran to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. You'll have options to snorkel, take a glass-bottom-boat tour, check out an underwater observatory, and watch fish being fed. After returning to Cairns, your evening is at leisure.

You have the day to relax and explore Cairns. There's an optional scenic railway ride to Kuranda, a picturesque market town, or a cable car ride over the rainforest canopy if you prefer. Your Tour Director can suggest other sightseeing, shopping, and dining options.

Cairns to Melbourne
You'll fly to Melbourne, Australia's cultural capital, known for its restaurants, museums, shopping, and interesting hidden laneways tucked throughout the city. The evening is open for you to explore on your own.

Melbourne
The morning includes a city sightseeing tour covering Flinders Street Station, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the botanic gardens, and the Shrine of Remembrance. After lunch you have free time to explore, then later you'll join your Tour Director and traveling companions for a farewell dinner.

You have a full free day in Melbourne. An optional day tour to the Great Ocean Road lets you see the limestone pillars of the Twelve Apostles, or you could head to Phillip Island for the Penguin Parade if that interests you more.

Melbourne to Outback
You'll fly to the Outback. Note that your Tour Director doesn't accompany you from here on. The rest of the day is yours to spend however you'd like after you arrive.

Uluru
Early morning brings a sunrise viewing over Uluru and Kata Tjuta with incredible views across the dunes. You'll then head to Walpa Gorge for a guided walk through Kata Tjuta. Stop at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to see ceramics, paintings, and woodwork from the Anangu people. By evening you'll be at Sunset Strip for a drink and canapés while the rock changes colors.
