  1. Day 1

    Boarding

    You'll board the Brazilian Dream and get settled into your cabin. Dinner happens onboard, then it's your first night at sea as the ship begins its journey through the Amazon.

  2. Day 2

    Leticia

    A private boat takes you to Benjamin Constant where you can walk through the local market and meet indigenous people at their maloca communal house. A shaman shares information about ancestral rituals and spiritual medicine practices. After that, you'll head by tuk-tuk to the Colombian town of Leticia to check out the ethnographic museum, browse craft shops, and wander the bustling market before heading back to the ship for dinner.

  3. Day 3

    Indigenous Community Visit

    You'll spend the morning cruising along the Amazon River from the deck or your cabin, watching for wildlife and vegetation. In the afternoon, a private boat takes you to an indigenous community's maloca where you'll see the Moça Nova initiation ceremony for young girls and participate in this cultural tradition. A traditional lunch happens at the maloca before you return to the ship.

    Starting early, you'll take a private boat out to Jutaí at sunrise, then return onboard to continue cruising while observing the riverbanks, wildlife, and vegetation. In the afternoon, another private boat excursion lets you watch local fauna and flora before dinner onboard.

    Fonte Boa

    A private boat takes you through the winding channels around Fonte Boa, where you'll learn about sustainable pirarucu fishing and this giant Amazonian fish. You can try piranha fishing, then cruise and spend the afternoon on a nature outing to observe wildlife and flora before dinner onboard.

    Varzea Forest

    You'll depart at dawn by private boat and canoe deep into the várzea forest, a unique ecosystem that floods for six months each year. Local guides help you look for rare red-faced Uakari monkeys. Next, you'll visit the Mamirauá sustainable development reserve and attend a presentation on environmental protection, then explore lakes and primary forest. An optional nocturnal excursion gives you chances to spot owls and caimans at night.

Later, you can explore charming Tefé town, attend an onboard lecture about the Amazon Basin, then take an afternoon boat excursion along the Solimões River shores before dinner with views of Vila Lira village.

    An early morning forest walk takes you through an area with Brazil nut trees, harvested January to June, where jaguars might be spotted. You'll spend the afternoon cruising before dinner onboard the ship.

  9. Day 9

    Purus River

    You'll depart by private boat to observe local wildlife and flora, stopping at an açaí producer to learn how this vitamin C and antioxidant-rich palm fruit is grown. The boat continues toward the Purus River mouth where you'll meet riverside fishermen catching large catfish before heading back for dinner onboard.

    Manaus

You'll return onboard and cruise toward Manaus, watching colorful riverbanks with floating houses and fishing scenes. Late afternoon brings another private boat excursion to nearby islands and lakes to meet locals and hopefully spot pink dolphins before dinner.

For tours departing after March 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with CroisiEurope River Cruises. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 120 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
