    Arrival in Taipei

    Your private guide and driver meet you at Taipei's arrival hall to help with luggage and get you checked into your hotel. The whole process is handled smoothly so you can start settling in and getting acclimated to the city.

  2. Day 2

    Taipei

    Start by checking out Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall with its iconic architecture and changing of the guard ceremony. From there, head to the National Palace Museum to see ancient Chinese art and artifacts spanning centuries. Later in the evening, make your way to Shilin Night Market where you'll find tons of local street food, vendors, and crowds of people enjoying the vibrant energy.

  3. Day 3

    Taipei to Yilan

    Head out from Taipei toward Yilan with several stops planned. You'll start with a sky lantern release at Shifen Old Street where you can write wishes on lanterns and watch them float away. Stop at Shifen Waterfall to see the cascading water, then wander through Jiufen Old Street with its traditional teahouses and narrow passages. Tour the Gold Museum to learn about Taiwan's mining history, and wrap up by hunting for food at Keelung Miaokou night market.

  4. Day 4

    Yilan to Nantou

    Head out to Turtle Island for whale watching where you might spot dolphins, whales, and other marine life from the water. After that, travel to Lukang Old Street in Changhua County to walk through cobblestone alleyways lined with traditional shops, temples, and old buildings. Your driver then takes you to Nantou for the night.

Next, visit Lalu Island, a sacred site for the indigenous Thao people. Tour the Xuanzang Temple which sits high above the lake with great views back across the water.

    Chiayi to Kaohsiung

    Travel to Alishan to see the ancient giant red cypress trees and catch sunrise views. Later, head to the Chimei Museum in Tainan to walk through Western art collections, musical instruments, and weaponry displayed in a neoclassical building. Your driver then transfers you to Kaohsiung for an overnight stay.

    Kaohsiung to Liuqiu Island

See Vase Rock, a notable natural formation along the shore. Before heading back, go to Sunset Pavilion where you can watch the sun set over the Taiwan Strait.

    Liuqiu Island to Kenting

    Leave Liuqiu Island and travel to Kenting, a tropical area in the south. During the day, visit Nanwan Beach with its golden sand and clear turquoise water perfect for swimming if you want. As evening comes, head to Kenting Main Street where local vendors sell souvenirs, traditional snacks, and there's a lively bar scene.

    Kenting

    • For any tour departing before February 4th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 4th, 2026, a minimum payment of $150 is required to confirm your booking with UME Travel Co. Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
