Delhi
You'll arrive in Delhi and get picked up from the airport. How the day unfolds depends on when you land, but in the evening you'll join a walking tour through the city to get oriented. Before wrapping up, there's a group dinner where you'll learn more about what's ahead on your cycling adventure.

- Day 2
Delhi to Manali
Early morning cycle tour takes you around Delhi, then you'll have leisure walks to see some of the city's monuments. Later in the evening, you'll board an overnight sleeper bus heading toward Manali. This marks the start of your journey into the Himalayas.

Manali
After arriving in Manali, the focus shifts to resting and letting your body adjust to the higher altitude. You'll check out some nice spots around town and handle any last-minute preparations before the cycling adventure to Ladakh kicks off.

- Day 4
Atal Tunnel to First Cycling Ride
First real cycling day begins with crossing the Atal Tunnel, which spans 9 km. From there you'll ride 37 km total with stops along the way for food and to take in the mountain scenery. This is where your Himalayan cycling experience truly starts.

Jispa to Darcha
Today's ride is a bit easier as you continue getting used to the altitude. You'll cycle roughly 30 km to reach a small village where you'll stay overnight with a local family in Darcha. It's a good opportunity to connect with the community and rest up.

Darcha to Sarchu (Himalayan Pass Crossing)
This is a major test. You'll face your first significant mountain pass, cycling 75 km to cross a summit over 4,700 meters. The endurance required here gives you real insight into what high-altitude mountain pass cycling actually demands.

Sarchu to Nakeela Pass (Ghata Loops)
Starting from Sarchu, you'll tackle the challenging Ghata loops section with its 21 tight hairpin curves. Climbing more than 700 meters on steep, winding terrain to reach Nakeela Pass, this stretch will push your cycling skills on some serious mountain switchbacks.

Whiskey Nala to Debring (Mores Plains)
After a small climb early on, you'll reach one of the longest flat sections on the entire tour across Mores Plains. Cycling through vast Himalayan scenery with endless flat plains stretching out, you'll roll into Debring for a quieter evening.

Debring to Upsi (Tanglang La Pass)
An action-packed day with 84 km of riding, but here's the nice part: 50 km of it is downhill. After crossing Tanglang La Pass at over 5,200 meters, you'll mostly descend all the way to Upsi with incredible Himalayan views the whole way down.

- Day 10
Upsi to Leh
Your final cycling day covers 45 km to reach Leh city. You'll ride along the scenic Indus river and can stop at Hemis Monastery if you'd like. Rolling into Leh by evening marks the end of the main cycling portion.

Leh

Leh (Departure)
