- DMDianne· January 26th, 2025I went in Winter, the best time of year in my opinion for less crowds and great walking. Though you have to be prepared for many things to be closed. The problem with this tour was that NO indication was given that there would be changes due to the off-season and I did not receive all the dinners and breakfasts as advertised and did NOT receive any discounts and recompense. The Cinque Terra office did their best to accomodate me and the hotels and restaurants I went to were good however, not getting an advertised tour that I paid in full for was not ok. Otherwise the walks were great but should be adjusted in off-season for the shorter daylight hours. It was impossible to do it all as scheduled.Show more

- LTLois· June 29th, 2024The scenery and accommodation was generally very good and particularly at Sestri Lavante. It would also be good if all rooms had a fridge. We found some the hiking very arduous and sometimes dangerous. I believe that it would not be possible for an 80 year old to complete most of the hikes. I am a fit 70 year old and found it very difficult at times. The maps were generally good although somewhat misleading particularly on the last day. Also there was no 6 o’clock ferry on the last day and were lucky to just catch the 5 o’clock ferry.Show moreTrip date: June 2024
