Itinerary
- Day 1
Ivalo
You'll arrive in Ivalo and get transferred to Wilderness Hotel Inari, which sits right on the shores of Lake Inari. After you settle into your room for the 7-night stay, there's an aurora workshop scheduled for the evening where you'll learn about the Northern Lights and get tips on camera settings for photography.

Landmarks Lake Inari Sámi village of Inari - Day 2
Inari
This is a full day packed with Arctic activities. You start with a husky safari where you'll ride a dog sled through the winter landscape for about 3 hours, and if you want, you can trade places with your partner partway through. After lunch back at the hotel, you'll put on snowshoes and trek through the forest for 2 hours, keeping an eye out for animal tracks and maybe spotting wildlife.

Landmarks Lake Inari - Day 3
Inari
You'll head out on a snowmobile safari for about 4 hours, riding in pairs across the frozen Lake Inari, along the shoreline, and through snow-covered forest. Later in the evening, a snowmobile will take you to Aurora Camp, which is far from any artificial lights. There you'll search for the Northern Lights while sitting by a fire inside a traditional Sámi tent, warming up between sky watches.

Landmarks Lake Inari - Day 4
Inari
A minibus picks you up and takes you to a nearby reindeer farm where you'll meet Sámi herders and learn how they work with reindeer and survive in the Arctic, spending about 2 hours there. In the evening, you'll hop on a snowmobile again for another Northern Lights hunt, riding out into the Arctic night for around 2.5 hours.

Ivalo
