- Day 2
Bucharest
A guided walking tour takes you through Bucharest's Old City, where you'll see the recently restored historic center and get a feel for the neighborhoods. After lunch at a local spot, you'll visit the Palace of the Parliament with its enormous 3,000-plus rooms. It's a massive structure that really shows the scale of what was built here.

Bucharest to Brașov
You'll travel to Salina Slanic Prahova, Europe's largest salt mine, and go 208 meters underground to explore 14 chambers and a museum. The air inside is particularly pure and people say it helps with breathing issues. After dinner, you'll head to your hotel in Brasov for the night.

Brașov
Bran Castle, known as 'Dracula's Castle', is your main stop today. It sits on a rocky hilltop in the Carpathian Mountains with its distinctive orange turrets, and inside you can wander through multiple rooms filled with 19th-century antiques. Back in Brasov, you'll grab lunch and then do a walking tour to learn about the city's history.

- Day 5
Brașov to Giurgiu
You'll see Peles Castle in Sinaia, a neo-Renaissance building built by Romania's first king, Carol I, that took 40 years to complete. It's positioned at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains and quite impressive architecturally. You'll have free time for lunch in Sinaia, and then the group travels to Giurgiu where your ship is waiting.

Veliko Tărnovo, Bulgaria
Your local guide leads you through Veliko Tarnovo's cobbled streets and past fortified walls to see Tsarevets Fortress, a restored medieval citadel from Bulgaria's Second Empire. The fortress is spectacular once you're up there. Later, you'll have lunch at a local restaurant before returning to the ship.

Vidin and Belogradchik, Bulgaria
Vidin's Baba Vida Fortress is a medieval castle that dates back to the 10th century and was built on the ruins of the ancient town of Bononia. From there, you'll go to Belogradchik to check out its ancient fortress on the northern slopes of the Balkan Mountains. The rock formations around the town are quite unusual and worth seeing.

Onboard APT Ostara
Today's for relaxing on board. Sleep in if you want, or get up early and spend time taking in the views from the Daystar Deck. It's a chance to catch your breath between all the touring and enjoy being on the water.

Novi Sad, Serbia
You'll have the day in Novi Sad, Serbia's second largest city, with your choice of what to do. Whether you want to walk around, grab food, or check out local spots is up to you.

This Signature Experience takes you to the Folk Art House to see local handicrafts, then you'll visit a paprika producer. After that, you'll head to a farm in Puszta for a horse show and a real Hungarian lunch. It's a solid look at the region's traditions and agriculture.

Prague
A guided tour starts at Prague Castle where you'll get views across the city. Then you'll take a leisurely walk over Charles Bridge to Old Town Square to see the famous Astronomical Clock, a medieval landmark that's over 600 years old. Tonight, the group has a farewell dinner.

Prague and Chateau Jemníště
You'll experience an exclusive Signature Experience at Chateau Jemnosti, an 18th-century baroque estate outside Prague. Members of the Czech Republic's oldest aristocratic family welcome you to explore the property and enjoy lunch. After that, there's a falconry display. The evening is yours to relax or do more exploring on your own.
