Keflavik
You'll arrive in Iceland and drop off your luggage by 2pm at the joining hotel. Later in the afternoon, head to the port for an evening transfer, then board the expedition ship departing from Keflavik that night.

At Sea
The ship heads out to sea as you settle in. During the day, you'll attend Arctic lecture series while keeping an eye out for whales and seabirds like fulmars, kittiwakes, gannets, guillemots, and razorbills passing by.

Tasiilaq, Greenland
You'll pull into Tasiilaq, the largest town in East Greenland. After boarding zodiacs to shore, walk around to see the architecturally unique church and check out the small but excellent museum. From there, you can look into gateway opportunities for wilderness activities and traditional Inuit culture.

Landmarks Tasiilaq Church Tasiilaq Museum - Days 4 - 7
Greenland
Over the next several days, you'll explore southern Greenland's remote fjords and settlements. This includes the rugged scenery of Skjoldungen Fjords, archaeological remains at the Qoornoq site, navigating Prince Christian Sound with its towering mountains and glaciers, the remote settlement Aappilattoq, and Hvalsey with its well-preserved 10th-century Viking structures.

Davis Strait Crossing
You'll spend two days crossing the Davis Strait, the southern arm of the Arctic Ocean between mid-western Greenland and Baffin Island. Take in Arctic lecture series and educational programs offered onboard during the crossing.

Landmarks Davis Strait - Days 10 - 13
Newfoundland and Labrador
You'll sail along the Newfoundland and Labrador coastline, visiting Hebron, a former Inuit community and National Historic Site with an abandoned Moravian mission. Next comes Hopedale, the legislative capital of Nunatsiavut, then L'Anse aux Meadows, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with North America's only authentic Norse settlement. The day finishes at Woody Point, which serves as a gateway to Gros Morne National Park.

At Sea to St. John's
You'll spend time at sea traveling from Woody Point toward St. John's, the capital of Newfoundland, arriving on the second day. Once there, explore the old streets and colorful candy row houses while taking in Atlantic Ocean views.

Landmarks St. John's - Day 16
St. John's
After breakfast, you'll disembark the ship. Complimentary transfers to St. John's International Airport are available at 8:00am for passengers with flights. If you're staying longer in Newfoundland, taxis are on hand to take you into town.
