Itinerary
- Day 1
Pokhara
Your day in Pokhara starts with hotel pickup, where you'll meet your English-speaking guide. From there, you're heading to Phewa Lake, the second-largest lake in Nepal and the heart of the city. You'll spend time on the water or along the shoreline, taking in views of the Annapurna range reflected in the water. After that, you're off to David's Fall, a waterfall formed where a stream plunges into a limestone cave. The cascade drops straight down through a hole in the ground, which is pretty unusual to see. Next comes Gupteshwor Temple, a sacred cave shrine located near David's Fall. You'll explore the temple and the natural cave formations inside. Later in the day, you'll visit the International Mountain Museum, where exhibits cover mountaineering history, equipment, and the culture of Himalayan communities. The museum gives real context to the mountain heritage of the region. Your guide will handle all the logistics, and you'll wrap up with hotel dropoff by evening.
