Bangkok
You'll arrive in Bangkok and your private guide meets you at the airport for the transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is open for you to settle in and get oriented at your own pace.

- Day 2
Bangkok
This morning you'll head to Wat Pho to see the Reclining Buddha, and if you arrive early you might catch the monks chanting. Then it's a tuk-tuk ride to the Grand Palace, followed by a longtail boat across the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun. By evening you'll be exploring the busy Chinatown area.

Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
You'll transfer west to Kanchanaburi province (128 km away) and visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, the War Cemetery, and the Bridge over the River Kwai. In the afternoon, check out Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre to learn about prisoner experiences, then take a longtail boat to The Float House River Kwai for check-in.

- Day 4
Kanchanaburi
After breakfast, a longtail boat takes you to Mon Tribal Village to see the Golden Rock, Buddha cave, and the school. You'll walk an easy jungle trail along the river to a viewpoint overlooking the River Kwai. From there, head back to The Float House to check out, then ride the Death Railway train over the original wooden viaduct built by Allied POWs before transferring back to Bangkok.

Bangkok to Chiang Mai
You'll start at Mahachai Market (Thailand's largest seafood market), then take a 3-wheeled bicycle to Bangkok's first train station. Board a train to Maeklong Railway Market for a unique view as it slowly passes through the bustling stalls. Later, experience Damnoen Saduak Floating Market by longtail boat through canals lined with fruit plantations. Then it's off to the airport to fly to Chiang Mai with a hotel transfer upon arrival.

Chiang Mai
In the afternoon you'll spend a few hours at Elephant Rescue Park, about 1 hour outside Chiang Mai. This sanctuary takes in rescued elephants and you'll interact with them, feed and bathe them during your visit.

You'll get up before dawn and head to Doi Suthep to participate in the alms-giving ritual with monks descending the mountain. After a monk chat at Wat Suan Dok, spend the afternoon exploring local street food around the Three Kings Monument area with your guide.

Finish at Sticky Waterfall where you can climb the rock formations without slipping.
