Itinerary
- Day 1
Rajkot to Dwarka
Your pickup starts at 8:00 AM for the 224 km drive from Rajkot to Dwarka, which takes you through scenic countryside for about 4 hours. Once you arrive in the early afternoon, you'll check into your hotel and have time to settle in. The Dwarkadhish Temple is your main stop, where you can see the 5th-century structure with its intricate Chalukya architecture. Around 7:00 PM you'll join the evening aarti ceremony, then walk across the Sudama Setu suspension bridge afterward to catch the sunset over the Gomti River. The bridge walk gives you nice views and is a peaceful way to end the first day.

Dwarka
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head out at 8:00 AM for a short 12 km drive to Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, which takes about 25 minutes. There's a large 25-meter Lord Shiva statue on the grounds, and the surrounding gardens are worth walking through. Later in the afternoon, head to Dwarka Beach where you can relax by the water and watch the sunset over the Arabian Sea. The coastal breeze and quieter beach atmosphere offer a nice contrast before heading back to your hotel for the evening.

Dwarka to Somnath
Check out at 8:00 AM and start the 231 km journey to Somnath, which takes about 4.5 hours. You'll arrive in the early afternoon, check in, and grab lunch before visiting Somnath Temple. This temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva, and it sits right on the Arabian Sea coast. The evening aarti happens at 7:00 PM, followed by a light and sound show at 7:45 PM that tells the temple's history. After that, take a short walk down to Somnath Beach under the night sky to finish your day.

Somnath to Rajkot
Start with breakfast at your hotel, then at 8:00 AM visit Bhalka Tirth, which is only 5 km away and takes about 15 minutes to reach. This location holds significance in Krishna's story. From there, head to Triveni Sangam, roughly 10 minutes away, where three rivers meet. Many visitors take a dip here for spiritual reasons. You'll depart Somnath at 11:00 AM for the 190 km return drive to Rajkot, arriving by early afternoon. Spend your remaining time at the hotel or browsing Yagnik Road markets for local handicrafts before your driver takes you to the airport or railway station by 4:00 PM.
