Arrival in Keflavík
You'll land at Keflavík airport and catch the hotel shuttle to Park Inn in Keflavík. If you get in early enough, there's time to walk around town and get your bearings. Dinner is up to you to find.

Reykjanes Peninsula
Your guide takes you across the Reykjanes Peninsula today, hitting Krýsuvík, Brimketill, and Gunnuhver hot spring along the way. You'll also see the Bridge Between Continents, check out Hvalsneskirkja Church, and visit Garðskagaviti Lighthouse. The whole area is full of geothermal activity and volcanic rock, so expect a dramatic landscape throughout the day. Lunch and dinner are on your own.

West Iceland
West Iceland is the focus today. You'll see Hraunfossar, where waterfalls drop over old lava into rivers fed by glaciers, and then head to Barnafoss, known for its folklore connections. The real highlight happens later when you go into a man-made tunnel carved into a glacier for about 4 hours. Bring layers because it'll be cold inside. Lunch and dinner are on your own.

Solar Eclipse Day
Start your day relaxing in the Blue Lagoon, soaking in the warm mineral waters with lava fields all around you. Later you'll head to a coastal location for a special solar eclipse viewing, and the tour provides glasses so you can watch safely. After that, return to the hotel for a sparkling toast to celebrate the event, then enjoy a three-course dinner. Keep in mind that clear skies depend on weather, so there's no guarantee you'll see it clearly.
