Itinerary
- Day 1
Amman
Your local representative meets you at Amman Alia International Airport with a placard and drives you to your hotel. From there, the rest of the day is yours to relax and get settled after your flight.
- Day 2
Amman to Petra
After breakfast, your English-speaking driver picks you up to see Amman's highlights including the Roman Theater, Castle Hill for views across the city, the Amman Archaeological Museum, Folk Museum, and the Umayyad Palace from 720 AD. Then you'll drive about 2.5 hours to Petra, known as the City of Rose, where you'll stay overnight.

Petra to Wadi Rum
You'll explore the ancient city of Petra, the former capital of the Nabataean Kingdom. Ride horses through Siq Canyon to see Al Khazna (the Treasure) and check out Royal Tombs, Roman Theater, and Qasr al-Bint at your own pace. In the afternoon, drive about 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum for a 2-hour desert jeep tour through Moon Valley scenery. Stay overnight at a desert campsite.

Wadi Rum to Dead Sea
Drive approximately 3 hours to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth with exposed land. Check in to your hotel and the afternoon is free for you to float on the Dead Sea and try the therapeutic mud treatments.

Dead Sea to Jerusalem
Your driver takes you to King Hussein Bridge (also called Allenby Bridge) in central Jordan for the border crossing into Israel. An Israeli driver-guide meets you at the border and transfers you to Jerusalem. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to explore on your own.

Jerusalem
Your driver-guide meets you at the hotel lobby to explore Jerusalem's sacred sites. Start at Mount of Olives for city views, then head to the Western Wall in the old city. Tour the four quarters (Jewish, Armenian, Christian, and Muslim) and visit Holy Sepulcher Church and Al Aqsa Mosque. Continue to Mt. Zion to see the Tomb of David, Last Supper Room, and Dormition Abbey. End with a walk through the old city market for handicrafts before returning to your hotel.

Bethlehem and Ein Karem
Drive to Bethlehem to visit Shepherd's Field and the Church of the Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus. On the way back to Jerusalem, stop at Ein Karem, about 30 minutes away, where John the Baptist was born. You'll visit St. John in the Mountains' Church built on St. John's residence and the Church of Visitation commemorating Virgin Mary's visit to Elizabeth.

Jerusalem to Tiberias
Check out in the morning and drive to Haifa, Israel's third-largest city. See the Bahai Gardens and Mount Carmel for views of the city and harbor. Continue to Akko, an ancient Phoenician and Crusader seaport and UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk through Knights Halls, Al-Jazzar Mosque, bathhouse, the ethnic museum, and covered markets by the old wall. Drive to Tiberias for an overnight stay.

Tiberias to Tel Aviv
After breakfast, visit sites near Tiberias including synagogue ruins in Capernaum, Peter's House, Mount Beatitudes, and Tabgha, where Jesus reportedly fed 5,000 people with five loaves and two fishes. See the Church of the Multiplication with its fifth-century mosaic. Drive to Nazareth to visit Church of the Annunciation, then continue to Tel Aviv for an overnight stay.

Tel Aviv
Visit the Ancient City of Jaffa, starting at the Visitor Center to learn about Jaffa's history and the story of Prophet Jonah. Check out St. Peter's Church, built to honor the Apostle Peter, which sits by Jaffa Port with nice harbor views. In the afternoon, walk through Carmel Market. On Tuesdays and Fridays, you can also explore the Nahalat Binyamin handicraft market where artists create their work on-site.
