Buenos Aires to Bariloche
Catch a domestic flight from Buenos Aires to Bariloche and check into your hotel. This afternoon, you'll take a half-day city tour that covers Iglesia Catedral, Centro Cívico, and Calle Mitre. The tour continues to the scenic viewpoint at Llao Llao and wraps up at Colonia Suiza where you can browse the artisan market.

Start with a boat tour to Isla Victoria, the largest island in Nahuel Huapi Lake, where you can walk the beaches and hike trails. From there, continue by boat to Arrayanes Forest to see the unusual Arrayán trees and visit a small cabin in the woods.

Perito Moreno Glacier
You'll do a mini-trekking excursion on Perito Moreno Glacier. The hike takes you right on the ice where you'll see the glacier's size and those distinctive blue ice formations up close. A guide will explain how the glacier works and what makes it unique.

Laguna de los Tres Trek

Arrival in Punta Arenas, Chile
You'll reach Punta Arenas before 2:00 PM and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon brings a required briefing at Explorers House covering important Antarctic trip details and visitor guidelines. Later on, you'll join your group for a welcome dinner featuring typical regional food.

Flight to King George Island and Ship Embarkation
You'll fly for two hours from Punta Arenas to King George Island in the South Shetland Islands. When you land, you'll board the expedition vessel and begin your Antarctic journey.
