Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Baltra to Isabela

    You'll arrive by morning flight to Baltra and start your Galapagos adventure right away. After landing, you'll cross the Itabaca Channel by ferry to Santa Cruz, then hop on a speedboat heading to Isabela Island. Keep an eye out for blue-footed boobies and other seabirds during the journey across the water. Once you arrive, settle into your hotel and spend the rest of the day getting used to the island's quiet, volcanic setting.

  2. Day 2

    Isabela

    After breakfast at the hotel, you'll head out to explore the Isabela Wetlands with its mangroves, lagoons, and estuaries. You'll look for pink flamingos, ducks, and herons while walking through trails lined with native plants and old lava formations. In the afternoon, sail over to Tintoreras islet where you can spot Galapagos penguins, sea lions, and white-tip sharks. Later, snorkel in the clear waters and you'll see sea turtles, rays, and tropical fish swimming around you.

  3. Day 3

    Isabela to Santa Cruz

    You'll catch an early ferry at 06:30 heading to Santa Cruz Island. Once there, visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, which serves as the archipelago's main research and conservation hub. You can get close to the impressive giant tortoises and check out the Van Straelen Interpretation Center to learn about the islands' ecological and geological background.

  4. Day 4

    Santa Cruz

    Walk over to Tortuga Bay, a beautiful beach with white sand and clear waters where you can spot marine iguanas, turtles, pelicans, and herons. Try kayaking or swimming in the calm waters if you want. Later, head to the Upper Part of Santa Cruz to see Twin Craters surrounded by Scalesia forest, explore some lava tunnels, and visit a local farm where giant tortoises roam. The afternoon is free for you to keep exploring Santa Cruz or grab some local food.

    Santa Cruz to San Cristóbal

    You'll take an early ferry at 06:30 to San Cristobal Island. Start at La Loberia, a coral beach where you'll find a resident sea lion colony. From there, watch marine iguanas warming up on volcanic rocks and look for endemic Maria canaries around the area. After that, snorkel in the water and you might see tropical fish, rays, and sea turtles. The landscape here features arid plants including giant cacti against the blue ocean.

    Begin your day at the Interpretation Center in San Cristobal to learn about the archipelago's geological, biological, and cultural past. Next, hike up to Cerro Tijeretas viewpoint where you'll see impressive Pacific Ocean views and watch frigates flying overhead with their red mating sacks on display. You'll break for a swim at Playa Mann, a white sand beach with clear waters where playful sea lions hang out.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
