Had an amazing trip! My tour leader, Carolina, was super fun, friendly and made me feel safe and looked after at all times. This tour opened my eyes to the real Colombia and changed my predetermined view on it. I felt very safe and really recommend this tour if you want to explore Colombia and get to know its history.

Gema was an absolutely incredible guide. she was obviously very knowledgeable and organized as a guide which made the logistics of the trip run smoothly, but her energy was what made the trip so incredible and memorable. she was so friendly and accepting and was excited to meet new people and include everyone in our activities. even with the locals and people that we were working with, it was so obvious that everyone loves her and being around her. she was able to make you feel comfortable immediately even though it was nerve wracking to do this trip alone with no idea what to expect in terms of relationships and connections with the other girls. she facilitated our connections in the beginning very well with ice breakers and just being an overall ball of good energy that you can relate and connect to very well. Gema was absolutely the reason that this trip was everything and more that i had hoped for when I booked this solo trip to Costa Rica.

Costa Rica will forever be a cherished memory for me thanks to Gema. Gema has been absolutely amazing for this entire tour — It was my first experience of doing travel this way, and she made me feel so comfortable and welcomed from day one. No question was a silly one, and she provided activities for everyone. She’s been super engaging and active in getting everyone involved with the locals, and that’s made this experience all the more better. Without Gema, this experience would have been a disaster and I feel so honoured to have met and spent this time with her and every other girl on tour. Despite the insane sunburn, getting trapped in what can only be called a monsoon and being bitten alive, this trip will forever be cherished to me and each girl will be remembered far into the future.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 24th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 24th, 2025, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with TruTravels. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
