Delhi

Later you'll drive past India Gate and the President House, then move to South Delhi to see Qutub Minar and finish at Humayun's Tomb with its Mughal architecture.

Dinner features Rajasthani food before you settle in for a full exploration day ahead.

Jaipur to Agra
After breakfast, you're driving to Agra (240 km, about 5 to 6 hours total) with stops at two spots worth seeing. Abhaneri's Chand Baori has 3,500 steps descending into one of India's deepest stepwells, then Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO site founded by Akbar. Once in Agra, you'll check in and rest. If time allows, Mehtab Bagh offers sunset views of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River.

Agra
You're up early to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise, a UNESCO site with white marble catching the light beautifully. Back at the hotel for breakfast, then you'll explore Agra Fort, the red sandstone structure with palaces like Jahangir Mahal and Khas Mahal. After finishing Agra's sights, you drive back to Delhi.

Delhi to Haridwar to Rishikesh
Breakfast behind you, you'll drive to Haridwar, a holy city and gateway to the Ganges that's sacred to Hindus. The sacred ghats are where thousands come to pray and float diyas on the water. That evening, the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri has priests waving large glowing lamps in rhythmic movements. From there, you head on to Rishikesh.

Rishikesh
After breakfast, you'll visit Laxman Jhula, a suspension bridge with views of the Ganges and the hills around it. Next is Ram Jhula, another 450-foot suspension bridge connecting ashrams and markets. The Beatles Ashram is where the band practiced meditation in the late 1960s, followed by Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh's largest with yoga and meditation offered. Later, walk through Rishikesh's markets for handicrafts and spiritual books.
