Hobart
You'll arrive in Tasmania and get transferred to your Hobart hotel. Your tour guide meets you around 3 pm for a quick city tour to get oriented, then you'll head to a welcome dinner where you can meet the other travelers on this trip.

Hobart to Freycinet Peninsula
After breakfast, you're heading to Richmond to walk around the historic town and see the well-preserved architecture, including Australia's oldest sandstone bridge. Then you'll drive along Tasmania's sunny east coast, passing through Orford, Triabunna, and Swansea, with a possible stop at Friendly Beaches if there's time. The day ends when you reach Freycinet Peninsula.

Freycinet Peninsula
This morning you'll take a 4-hour cruise around Wineglass Bay where dolphins, albatrosses, and humpback whales (depending on season) sometimes show up. Lunch, a typical Tasmanian meal, gets served right there on the boat. In the afternoon, there's an optional 1.5-hour hike to a viewing platform if you're interested, or you can just relax for the rest of the day.

Freycinet Peninsula to Launceston
You'll check out the Bay of Fires coastline with its clear waters, white sandy beaches, and those distinctive orange granite boulders. From there, you head inland to see St. Columba Falls, which is one of Tasmania's tallest waterfalls. After that, you'll drive through Derby and Scottsdale on your way to Launceston, arriving in the evening.

Launceston
Start with a short city tour of Launceston and then visit Cataract Gorge to see the scenic area. Around 11 am, you'll transfer to Launceston Airport where your tour guide will say goodbye before you head home.
