- Day 1
Luxor
You'll arrive in Luxor and head straight to explore the East Bank temples. Karnak Temples come first, where you'll walk through massive pylons and towering columns that'll give you a real sense of ancient Egyptian scale. After that, you'll check out Luxor Temple, which sits right on the riverbank and has its own distinct layout and history. Meals are provided back on your cruise ship, so you'll have time to relax between activities.

Luxor to Edfu
After breakfast on board, you'll spend your morning on the West Bank exploring several key sites. The Valley of the Kings is first, where you'll walk through tombs carved into the hillside. Then you'll see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which has a different look from other temples you'll encounter. The Colossi of Memnon are nearby and worth a quick stop. Later in the day, your cruise ship heads toward Edfu and passes through the Lock of Esna, which is its own interesting experience watching the water levels change. Food's covered all day on board.

Edfu to Aswan
Breakfast happens first on board, then you'll visit Edfu Temple, one of the most well-preserved temples on the Nile. From there, your ship sails to Kom Ombo with scenic river views along the way. After lunch, you'll explore Kom Ombo Temple, which has a unique double-temple design. As you continue toward Aswan, tea time comes on board. Later in the evening, there's an Oriental Show with a galabia party, so you'll get some local entertainment and a chance to dress up if you want.

Aswan
Your day in Aswan starts with the High Dam, an engineering project that's quite different from the ancient sites you've been seeing. Next is the Unfinished Obelisk, where you can see how ancient workers cut stone directly from the quarry. Philae Temple comes after that, and it's set on an island with a calm, spiritual feel. During the afternoon, you'll take a felucca sailboat tour around the Aswan Islands, which gives you a slower pace and different perspective of the Nile. The evening wraps up with a Nubian Show that features local music and cultural performances.

Aswan
You'll have breakfast on board before checking out. There's an optional tour available to the Great Temple of Abu Simbel, which King Ramses II built, though this costs extra and requires advance arrangement. Whether you do that or not, transportation to your next destination in Aswan will be arranged for you at the end of the tour.
