Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Boumalne Dadès
Your driver will pick you up from your Marrakech hotel early in the morning, then head toward the Atlas Mountains. The route takes you through the High Atlas range and over the Tichka Pass, which sits at 2,260 meters and offers pretty views of the surrounding peaks. From there you'll reach Ait Ben Haddou, an old kasbah complex that's worth walking around to see the traditional clay buildings. After that, you'll drive into Ouarzazate to check out Taourirt Kasbah and the movie studios if you're interested in that kind of thing. Later in the afternoon, the drive continues through the Dades Valley and along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, where you'll see more traditional fortress-like structures scattered across the landscape. By evening you'll arrive in Boumalne Dadès for dinner and your overnight stay.

- Day 2
Boumalne Dadès to Merzouga
After having breakfast at your hotel, you'll set out toward the Sahara Desert near Tinghir. The day includes stops at a palm grove where you can walk around and see the date palms, then you'll head to Todra Gorge to see those dramatic canyon walls. From there, the route takes you through more palm groves in the Tinjedad and Touroug areas before reaching Erfoud and then Merzouga. Once you arrive at Merzouga, you'll get on a camel for a ride out into the Erg Chebbi dunes. This is when you'll watch the sunset from out in the sand, which is a nice part of the day. You'll spend the night in a luxury tent at a desert camp among the dunes.

- Day 3
Merzouga to Marrakech via Draa Valley
You'll have breakfast, then head through the Draa Valley where you'll stop in Rissani to see Moroccan architecture including old palaces, gates, and temples. The route continues through Nqob and Tamnougalt before bringing you back to Ouarzazate for lunch at a café. From there you'll start the journey back toward Marrakech by heading up the southern slopes of the High Atlas and crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2,260 meters. The drive down from the pass takes you through fertile green valleys, and you'll arrive back in Marrakech by evening where the tour ends.
