Tokyo
You'll arrive in Tokyo and connect with your Adventure Leader for an initial briefing about the trip. Then it's time to get hands-on with a sushi-making class led by local experts, where you'll learn techniques and then sit down to eat what you've made for dinner. As evening comes around, head to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building for panoramic views across the city. If you're interested, there's a local bar where your group can gather and unwind after the day's activities.

Tokyo
Start with fresh sushi and sashimi at Tsukiji Outer Market early in the day. After that, make your way to Sensoji Temple in Asakusa and walk through the busy Nakamise-dori street with its traditional shops. There are several options to choose from depending on your interests: meet ex-sumo wrestlers, visit Tokyo SKYTREE, take a cruise on the Sumida River, or check out the Samurai Museum. Later in the afternoon, head to Akihabara to see the anime and manga scene, with an optional maid cafe if that appeals to you. The rest of your time is flexible for shopping, entertainment, or just relaxing around Tokyo.

Tokyo
Begin at Meiji Shrine, a peaceful spot dedicated to Emperor Meiji. From there, move to Harajuku, which is known for its fashion and youth culture. Wander through vintage shops and try some food at places that have become local favorites. During the day you'll experience Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest pedestrian crossings around. In the afternoon, you can pick from optional activities like going Kartoon Karting, visiting the teamLab Planets digital art gallery, or walking through the Imperial Palace Gardens.

Tokyo to Fujikawaguchiko
This is an early start for a day trip to Fujikawaguchiko in the Mount Fuji area. Stop at Arakurayama Sengen Park shrine located in Fuji's foothills. Then hike up to Tenku no Torii, also called the Torii Gate by the Sky, where you'll get views of Mount Fuji and chances for photos. After that, visit Haha no Shirataki, known as Mother White's Waterfall, to see more of the natural landscape and mountain scenery. By evening you'll head back to Tokyo where you can either relax or get together with your group to celebrate.

Spend this final morning saying goodbye to the travel group and reflecting on what you've experienced during the trip. After that, you'll head to your next destination or make your way home, depending on your plans.
