Plenty of free time at each site, and lots of relevant information at places where that was necessary. Our guides, Erhard (Mexico) and Aquilino (Belize and Guatemala), were both wonderful. I always thought that being on your own and travelling at your own pace was the way to go. After this trip I realized how much more you get to see, learn about the culture and experience when you travel with a local guide! Both my guides were fantastic! They were informative, fun and most importantly trustworthy. You learn a lot about the different archeological sites, but there is also a lot of different landscapes to discover. The perfect thing about travelling with Intrepid is that you can do whatever you want to do. The tourguides are well knowledged and fun.
