Itinerary
- Day 1
Kuala Lumpur
You'll meet your group at 6 pm at your hotel, but if you land earlier, take some time to wander around Kuala Lumpur. Head to Petaling Street for street food and local markets, check out the Petronas Towers for city views, or walk through Dataran Merdeka to see different architectural styles. An optional group dinner lets you get to know everyone before the trip kicks off.

- Day 2
Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh
After breakfast, you'll catch a high-speed train from Kuala Lumpur's Railway Station to Ipoh, watching palm plantations and rice fields roll by during the countryside ride. Once there, a private vehicle takes you to Perak Cave Temple on a limestone hill with cool caverns and a 40-meter golden Buddha. You'll check into your hotel and explore Old Town with your leader. Ipoh's got heritage buildings, street murals, and a creative music scene that grew out of its tin mining past.

Jungle Railway to Tanah Merah
A private vehicle gets you to Gua Musang station where you board the Jungle Railway to Tanah Merah. This scenic stretch takes you past towering karst cliffs, thick green forests, and traditional stilt villages. The station itself has kept its 1938 character with hand-painted signs and a relaxed atmosphere. Your evening is free to check out Pasar Besar Tanah Merah market or try local dishes like roti canai and nasi kerabu.

Landmarks Gua Musang Station - Day 4
Perhentian Islands Snorkelling
You'll speed out on a boat to the Perhentian Islands for snorkeling at spots like Turtle Point and Coral Garden. Look for clownfish, parrotfish, rays, and hopefully turtles swimming around the reefs. After a few hours on the water, the speedboat brings you back to Tanah Merah by late afternoon. After all that sea air, join your group for dinner and celebrate a full day on the water.

Jungle Railway to Taman Negara National Park
An early start around 4 or 5 am gets you on the Jungle Railway to Kuala Lipis, giving you a chance to watch the countryside wake up. After a lunch break, you'll hop on a bus to Taman Negara National Park and settle into your jungle chalet for two nights. If energy permits, an optional night jungle walk lets you spot nocturnal animals. Dinner's either at your hotel or at one of the floating restaurants across the water.

- Day 6
Taman Negara Jungle Trek & Orang Asli Visit
Right after breakfast, you'll hike the easy to moderate trail up Bukit Teresek, a 334-meter hill with panoramas stretching to Mount Tahan on clear days. The route includes jungle trails and a canopy walk. Later, you'll visit the Batek and Semokberi tribes of the Orang Asli on their ancestral lands. Learn about their communal living, traditional hunting with bamboo blowpipes, and how they gather food and make tools. The rest of the day is yours to rest.

- Day 7
Taman Negara to Melaka
A bus takes you to Jerantut station for a Jungle Railway train to Gemas, then another bus heads to the UNESCO heritage city of Melaka, arriving around 5 pm. Your leader gives you an orientation walk to get oriented. With layers of Malay, Portuguese, Dutch, and British history, Melaka blends different architectural styles and cultures. Spend the evening exploring on your own and maybe grab Nyonya cuisine on Jonker Street, a Chinese, Malay, and Indonesian fusion unique to this city.

- Day 8
Melaka Heritage Exploration
A trishaw ride winds through Melaka's heritage streets, showing you Peranakan architecture and the city's spice trade history. You'll see Harmony Street's mix of religious sites including a mosque, Chinese Buddhist temples, and a traditional Muslim house-museum. Free time afterward lets you visit Dutch Square's red buildings or grab a drink at riverside bars. If you're up for it, try an Eco Bike tour or take a boat ride along the Melaka River.

Melaka to Singapore
Time to leave Malaysia behind. An express bus crosses the border to Singapore, and you'll check into your hotel early afternoon. Spend time exploring Little India and Chinatown's colorful shopfronts before meeting for a farewell dinner at Lau Pa Sat, a UNESCO-listed hawker market. Try satay, wonton noodles, and carrot cake, then explore Singapore's night lights and toast to the trip.
