Itinerary
- Day 1
Luang Prabang
When you arrive at Luang Prabang airport, a driver will take you to your hotel so you can settle in. After that, head out to climb Phusi Hill and get your bearings around the old town. Later in the evening, walk through the night market where locals sell everything from food to crafts, then return to your hotel for the night.

- Day 2
Luang Prabang
Get going early to visit Wat Sene temple and check out the morning market. Grab breakfast back at your hotel, then tour the former royal palace and a heritage house nearby. In the afternoon, you'll drive to Ban Long Lao Mhong hill tribe village and hike through jungle to Kuangsi waterfall where you can swim in the turquoise pools or take forest trails if you prefer.

- Day 3
Luang Prabang to Vangvieng
Start your morning at Wat Xiengthong and Wat Visoun temples. Then head to the train station for the express train C81, which leaves at 13:45 and pulls into Vangvieng at 14:45. Once you reach your hotel, take a long tail boat out on the Namxong River to wind down after traveling.

- Day 4
Vangvieng to Vientiane
The morning and early afternoon are yours to fill with optional activities in Vangvieng like hot air balloon rides, paramotor flights, ATV driving, kayaking, or cave exploration with zip lining and swimming. Later in the day, around late evening, your driver takes you about an hour to Vientiane.

- Day 5
Vientiane
Spend the day touring Vientiane's main sites including Buddha Park and That Luang stupa, which represents Buddhism and Lao sovereignty. See Patouxay (the victory gate), then visit Vat Sasaket temple from 1818 BC. Finish at Vat Pha Kaew, a former royal temple that's now a museum.

Vientiane to Ban Hinboun
Drive to Phu Phaman Mountain where optional activities await like zip lining, spider net walks, and trekking depending on your interest level. After that, you'll head to Ban Hinboun where you'll stay overnight at a standard guesthouse.

Ban Hinboun to Kham Moun
Take a long tail boat on the Nam Hinboun River through Kong Lor cave, which stretches 7.5 km and is completely dark inside, making it an unusual experience. Then drive on to Kham Moun province where you'll continue the journey.

Kham Moun to Bolaven Plateau
Start with about a 322 km drive to Pakse, then continue to Bolaven Plateau. Once you arrive at Sabaidee Valley resort, the rest of your day is free so you can relax and adjust to the area.

Bolaven Plateau
Visit Tad Yueng waterfall early on and walk through tea and coffee plantations spread across the plateau. Later, head to Tad Fan waterfall where zip lining is available if you want to pay extra for it. You'll drive back to Pakse in the evening for your overnight stay.

Don Khon Island to Pakse
Take a local boat back to the mainland in the morning. From there, drive to Ban Piengdee village to catch a ferry boat across the Mekong River so you can visit Wat Phu, a Khmer ruin. The drive back to Pakse finishes your day.
