You'll arrive in Calgary and head to your hotel to get settled. Later this evening, you'll join your Tour Director and other travellers for a Welcome Reception to kick things off.

Calgary to Lake Louise
The drive to Banff National Park starts early, and you'll stop at the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary to see and interact with these animals up close. After that, you'll check out Moraine Lake with its glacier-fed waters (if the season allows it), then continue on to Lake Louise. You're staying at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, which sits right on the water.

- Day 3
Lake Louise to Banff
Today is about driving the Icefields Parkway, which is one of the most scenic routes you can take. You'll stop at Columbia Icefield and ride an Ice Explorer vehicle right onto the Athabasca Glacier. From there you'll head into Banff, and your evening is free to do what you'd like.

Banff
A guided tour walks you through Banff town to see the local sights and character. If you want to add on experiences, there are options like guided hikes to hidden lakes, a gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain, helicopter flights, a float trip on the Bow River, a hockey experience, canoe tours, or an evening golf course tour.

Banff to Sun Peaks
You'll travel through Yoho National Park on your way down from the Rockies toward Sun Peaks. Alternatively, if you booked the Rocky Mountaineer rail option, that journey to Vancouver happens now at an additional cost.

Sun Peaks to Vancouver
The route goes through the Cariboo region as you head to Vancouver, where you'll stay for two nights. Get checked into your hotel and spend time exploring on your own. Try out a local restaurant for dinner. If you're on the Rocky Mountaineer, board the train this morning and it'll take you to Vancouver to rejoin the group.

Vancouver
A city tour covers Vancouver's main attractions including the Waterfront, Granville Island, Stanley Park, and historic Gastown. A Farewell Dinner with your group happens this evening.

After breakfast and a relaxed morning in Vancouver, you'll transfer to the Holland America Line cruise terminal. Board the ship and get familiar with the layout and onboard amenities as you settle into your cabin.

At Sea

Juneau
The ship pulls into Juneau, Alaska's capital, and you have time to explore on your own. Walk through town to check out local shops, or learn about the area's gold rush history and glaciers. Optional activities include a dog sled ride on a glacier, salmon cooked over a fire, or gold panning.

Skagway
Skagway is your port today, sitting at the far north of the Inside Passage. The town has kept its gold rush character with historic buildings, stores, and saloons. You can take tours focused on gold prospecting or local wildlife if you're interested.

- Day 12
Glacier Bay National Park
Glacier Bay National Park appears before you this morning with its massive ice rivers, rugged coastline, and protected fjords. Local park rangers come aboard to talk about the geology and the variety of wildlife you'll see in this World Heritage site.

Ketchikan
