Itinerary
- Day 1
Tunis
You'll arrive in Tunis and make your way to the beachfront hotel on the Cote de Carthage at your own pace, with airport transfer available if you want it. If you get there before 7pm, there's an optional dinner with the tour leader. The welcome meeting happens the next morning, so this first day is really just about getting settled and resting up from travel.

Sidi Bou Said
After the welcome meeting, you'll head out to explore Carthage's ancient Roman ruins, walking through the Punic harbours, Antonin baths, amphitheatre and acropolis. You'll grab lunch at a panoramic restaurant, then head to Sidi Bou Said, a cliff-top village known for its white and blue houses where you can wander through local shops and get a feel for the area.

Dougga
The drive takes you to Testour first, then on to Dougga, one of North Africa's best-preserved Roman sites. You'll walk through the 2nd-century theatre, temples, streets and cisterns surrounded by olive groves. Back at the hotel by mid-afternoon, you'll have time to either relax by the pool or head to the beach.

Hammamet
You'll head south to Uthina (Oudna), where you can see the impressive amphitheatre and Roman baths decorated with mosaics from the time of Emperor Augustus. At lunch in Douar Laaroussi, a Berber restaurant, you'll get to visit the kitchens and actually help make fresh bread. From there, it's on to your hotel near Hammamet.

Mahdia
El Djem is next, a UNESCO site and one of the world's largest Roman amphitheatres still standing. You'll take a guided tour exploring the dungeons, animal enclosures and auditorium, including the upper galleries with their views. After lunch, you'll drive to Mahdia to check out the Fatimid fortress and Great Mosque before heading back to the hotel.

Sousse - Kairouan
This morning you'll tour the fortress and mausoleum of Monastir, then head north to Sousse where your tour leader will walk you through the UNESCO-protected medina. Lunch is on your own before you head inland to Kairouan. You'll stay at a hotel on the medina's edge with an optional evening walking tour of the old town if you're interested.

Landmarks/POIs Monastir Fortress Sousse Medina Kairouan Medina - Day 7
Kairouan
You'll start at the Aghlabid Pools and Abou Zomaa mosque, then visit the Great Mosque of Kairouan, the 4th holiest Islamic centre after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem. Wandering through the old medina's labyrinth and covered market, you'll see traditional crafts like carpet weaving and copper engraving. Later you'll head back to Tunis for your final two nights.

Tunis
You'll start early with a walking tour through Tunis' historic medina, where you'll see over 700 monuments, mosques and palaces including Ez-Zitouna mosque. The Bardo National Museum is next, housed in a grand palace and displaying over 1,000 mosaics and artefacts from across Tunisia. The rest of the day is yours to explore and shop, and there's an optional farewell dinner if you want it.

Tunis
After breakfast at your hotel, the tour ends and you'll depart Tunis at your own pace. Complimentary airport transfer to Tunis International Airport is available. If you'd rather stay longer, you can arrange extra nights on the beach or in the city centre.
