Itinerary
- Day 1
Vilnius
Your day starts in Vilnius Old Town with a local guide who'll walk you through the Gothic and Baroque churches scattered throughout the neighborhood. Cathedral Square comes up next, where you'll see the Presidential Palace and get a feel for the city's center. After that, Vilnius University is on the agenda, followed by time in the Jewish Quarter to understand the area's significant history. The Gates of Dawn, one of the city's most recognizable landmarks, is a natural stopping point before you head toward Literatu Street to check out the street art covering the buildings. Later in the day, you'll cross over to Uzupis, a bohemian district with its own constitution and independent spirit, so bring your passport if you want to get it stamped there. Throughout the walk, you'll find plenty of spots with panoramic views over the old city and chances to photograph the distinctive architecture and creative murals.
