Itinerary
- Day 1
Istanbul to Cappadocia
Your hotel will pick you up in Istanbul and drive you to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. The flight takes about an hour, and when you land at Kayseri or Nevşehir airport, someone will meet you for the transfer to your cave hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to get settled in and wander around on your own.

- Day 2
Northern Cappadocia Tour
There's an optional early morning hot air balloon ride if you want to catch the sunrise over the valleys and rock formations, then you'll have breakfast. After that, you'll head out on a full-day guided tour of Northern Cappadocia. You'll check out Devrent Valley's unusual rock shapes, walk through the fairy chimneys at Pasabag in Monks Valley, and see the pottery demonstrations in Avanos. Lunch comes at a local restaurant, then you visit Göreme Open-Air Museum to see the cave churches with their old frescoes and climb up Uçhisar Castle for views across the region. Back at the hotel by evening with time to yourself.

- Day 3
Southern Cappadocia Tour to Istanbul
You'll spend the full day exploring Southern Cappadocia with a scenic hike through Red Valley and Rose Valley to see the colorful rock landscape. Next you visit Cavusin Village, one of the oldest settlements here with houses built right into the rock. After lunch at a local spot, you'll go down into either Kaymakli or Derinkuyu Underground City to walk through the ancient tunnels and chambers. Before heading to the airport, there's a stop at Pigeon Valley to photograph the pigeon houses built into the cliffs. Then it's off to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul and transfer to your hotel.
