Itinerary
- Day 1
Tokyo
You'll land in Tokyo and make your way to the hotel, settling in around mid-afternoon. Take some time to acclimate to the city and get ready for the days ahead. It's a good chance to rest after travel and maybe grab an early dinner.
- Day 2
Tokyo
Start with Meiji Shrine, a 20th-century Shinto shrine set in a peaceful forest area. You'll take part in a traditional tea ceremony there, then head to Asakusa to see Kannon Temple and walk through Nakamise's shops and street stalls. Later that evening, your Tour Director hosts a welcome dinner.

Tokyo
This day is entirely yours to spend however you like. Many people head to Ginza for shopping or Shibuya to see the famous intersection. Others prefer trying street food around different neighborhoods, or if you're up for a longer trip, you could take the train to the Five Lakes area and get views of Mt. Fuji from various spots.

- Day 4
Tokyo to Hiroshima
You'll board one of Japan's shinkansen bullet trains heading toward Hiroshima. The ride itself is smooth and fast. Once you arrive, a local guide takes you to Shukkeki-en Garden, which dates back 400 years and features miniature representations of natural landscapes.

Miyajima Island
Spend the morning with your local guide exploring Peace Memorial Park and reflecting on Hiroshima's history. After that, you'll take a ferry out to Miyajima Island to see the famous Itsukushima Shrine and its iconic floating Torii Gate. The evening is free, so you can relax or wander around on your own.

- Day 6
Kurashiki - Himeji - Kyoto
Drive north to Kurashiki and spend some time in the Bikan Historical Quarter, where stone streets and canal-lined walkways feel like stepping back into the Edo period. From there, you'll stop to see Himeji Castle before continuing on to Kyoto, arriving later in the day.

- Day 7
Kyoto
Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine with its thousands of colorful Torii Gates creating tunnel-like passages through the hillside. Then head to Kiyomizu Temple for views across Kyoto. Later, you'll learn about Yuzen dyeing and create your own kimono to take home. The day finishes with a cooking class where you'll make miso soup, teriyaki chicken, and sushi rolls.

- Day 8
Kyoto to Nara
Travel to Nara and visit Kasuga Shrine, notable for its 3,000 stone and bronze lanterns. From there, go to Todaiji Temple to see the Daibutsu, a massive copper and bronze Buddha weighing 250 tons and standing 49 feet tall. Back in Kyoto that evening, your Tour Director hosts a farewell dinner.
