You'll fly into Buenos Aires and head straight to the cruise terminal to board the Discovery Yacht. After meeting the Captain and crew, you'll settle into your luxury suite and have a glass of Champagne at the Scenic Lounge Bar to toast the beginning of your expedition.

Montevideo
The ship arrives in Montevideo, Uruguay's capital with over 300 years of history behind it. You can walk along the 22-kilometre Rambla beachside avenue and check out the city's Art Deco and Neoclassical architecture, plus get a feel for the local passion for meat, wine, and football.

At Sea

You'll explore Punta Piramides, a World Heritage-listed nature reserve and breeding ground for southern right whales, elephant seals, and sea lions. During Zodiac cruises, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding excursions, watch for orca whales and migratory seabirds passing through.
