Itinerary
- Day 1
Buenos Aires
Start your trip in Buenos Aires with time to walk through Belle Epoque neighborhoods and grab coffee at a sidewalk café. Head to La Boca to check out the colorful streets and art walks, or wander San Telmo's bohemian area with its historic mansions and tango clubs. The city has plenty of green spaces to explore between neighborhoods.

- Day 2
Buenos Aires to Ushuaia
Fly south to Ushuaia and board Scenic Eclipse II where the Captain and crew welcome you with Champagne. Settle into your suite and get comfortable, then head to the Sky Bar later to meet other guests and toast the beginning of your voyage down to Antarctica.

- Day 3
Cape Horn
Cruise through Cape Horn where the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans meet, keeping watch for sea lions, penguins and whales. The Beagle Channel offers dramatic Andean mountain views as you navigate through. During the day, catch an introductory expedition presentation from the Discovery Team, and later you can reserve dinner at Sushi @ Koko's if you'd like.

Chilean Fjords
See Seno Garibaldi, one of the few advancing glaciers in the world, and explore the ice crevasses and rivers of Seno Pia Glacier. This World Heritage biosphere is home to seals, sea lions and seabirds including Andean condors. In the afternoon, relax in a cabana on Deck 10 or have dinner in your suite with private verandah views.

Chilean Fjords
Head through the untouched Agostini Fjord to see Agostini Glacier flowing from the Darwin Mountain Range. Watch for seals, seabirds and humpback whales in their natural habitat. The Discovery Team organizes various activities throughout the day, so there's plenty to participate in if you want.

Punta Arenas
Arrive in Punta Arenas, which sits on the Strait of Magellan and features sophisticated European architecture. Nearby Magdalena Island is a breeding ground for Magellanic penguins and worth checking out. Later in the evening, cruise the legendary Strait of Magellan and follow the historic routes that explorers Ferdinand Magellan and Sir Francis Drake once traveled.

Strait of Magellan
Sail through the Chilean Fjords with their narrow inlets, steep cliffs and glacier-carved islands. Watch from the Observation Deck for tall peaks, waterfalls and dense forests. Stay alert for elephant seals, dolphins and whales, and use your complimentary binoculars to help spot wildlife in the distance.

Landmarks Chilean Fjords - Day 8
Pio XI Glacier - Puerto Eden
Navigate through the Inner Fjords and English Narrows to reach Puerto Eden, the only settlement inside the Chilean Inside Passage. View Pio XI Glacier, which is expanding daily and remains the sole glacier on Earth doing so. Learn about ancient Mapuche culture and walk the town's wooden boardwalks.

Castro, Isla Chiloé
Visit Castro on Isla Chiloé, surrounded by fjords and natural beauty. Explore Chiloé National Park on the west coast to see Magellanic and Humboldt penguin colonies. Walk through the city streets to try local food like Chiloé potato and view the World Heritage wooden churches known for their unique ecclesiastical architecture.

Puerto Montt
Arrive in Puerto Montt, a busy town in the Chilean Lake District near the end of the Pan-American Highway. Snow-capped volcanoes and green landscapes surround the city, which serves as a gateway to the Andean region. The waterfront has bustling markets full of artisan crafts and fresh seafood.

Niebla
Sleep at your own pace and have breakfast sent to your suite or meet other guests at the alfresco Yacht Club. Later, arrive in Niebla, home to a 17th century fortress. Nearby Valdivia is considered one of Chile's most beautiful cities and is a vibrant university town that recovered from the devastating 1960 earthquake.

Valparaíso
Your voyage ends in Valparaíso, a World Heritage-listed city with history dating to the 16th century. The city has a vibrant cultural scene with theatre, music, performance and street art. Brightly painted buildings cover the steep hillsides. After breakfast, disembark and say goodbye to the crew and fellow guests.
