Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
Your private chauffeur meets you and takes you to Cairo's Mena House Hotel, a five-star property where you'll get settled in. This is where your Egypt journey begins, so take time to relax and get your bearings before the real exploration starts.
- Day 2
Giza
An Egyptologist joins you to walk through Egypt's ancient sites. You'll head to Saqqara first to see the Pyramid of King Zoser up close, then move on to Giza where you get to go inside one of the pyramids and check out the Sphinx. The colossal statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx are also on your route today, giving you a solid sense of the scale and complexity of these monuments.

Cairo to Luxor
This morning focuses on Karnak's temple complex. You'll walk the avenue lined with ram-headed sphinxes and see the Hypostyle Hall's massive columns, which really shows you the engineering these ancient builders achieved. After that, you head to the dock to board the River Tosca for your luxury Nile cruise. It's a nice transition from land-based touring to river-based exploration.

Luxor
At Dendera, you visit the Temple of Hathor early in the day. From there, you have choices: either join a yoga class on the boat's sundeck or visit the engine cabin to meet the captain. Later this afternoon, you get an exclusive after-hours tour of the Temple of Luxor when most tourists have left, which gives you a different perspective of the space.

During lunch, you stop at a local family home to watch them prepare traditional Egyptian sun bread, which you'll eat along with Egyptian tea. Tonight, put on your finest traditional galabeya for a night of dancing and games onboard the River Tosca.

The afternoon brings you to the Old Cataract Hotel for tea with river views, and after dinner, there's a Nubian performance to enjoy onboard.

Luxor to Cairo

The tour ends with celebratory drinks where you can toast to everything you've experienced throughout your time in Egypt.
