Itinerary
- Day 1
Tsagaan Suvarga
You'll leave at 9 AM heading toward Tsagaan Suvarga, where white cliffs rise dramatically from the Gobi Desert landscape. After grabbing lunch along the way, you'll arrive around 4 PM and walk around the white cliff formations that look like Buddhist stupas. Later that evening, head back to camp for dinner and overnight.

Yoliin Am
Following breakfast, the drive takes you to Yoliin Am and its dramatic gorge cutting through the Gobi. You can explore on foot or by horseback through the terrain, then settle in to watch the golden hour light shift across the gorge walls. After that, it's back to camp for the night.

- Day 3
Khongoryn Els
After breakfast, you'll head through desert landscapes to reach Khongoryn Els, Mongolia's largest sand dune formation stretching 180 kilometers with dunes reaching 800 meters high. You'll have time to take in the views, then get on a Bactrian camel for a ride through the golden dunes. This afternoon is active, so you'll return to camp later to rest.

Bayanzag
Start with a leisurely breakfast, then drive through the Gobi to Bayanzag, known as the Flaming Cliffs for their red-orange sandstone glow at sunset. You'll get there by 2 PM and explore the dramatic cliffs, learning about the area's importance as a dinosaur fossil site. Afterward, return to camp for dinner and rest.

- Day 5
Baga Gazriin Chuluu
You'll explore Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a site where granite outcrops rise sharply from the surrounding steppe. This location holds significance for Mongolian nomads as a shamanic worship place, with ancient altars and temple ruins from the Mongol Empire era still visible. Walking through here gives insight into Mongolia's spiritual and historical background.

Terelj National Park
After breakfast, head to Terelj National Park and visit Genghis Khan's Statue Complex, featuring a 40-meter-tall equestrian statue with panoramic views from the top. Then move on to Mongolia's most visited national park for lunch at a tourist camp. The afternoon includes checking out Turtle Rock, the park's iconic formation, and hiking up to Ariyabal meditation temple surrounded by scenic peaks.

Return to Ulaanbaatar
This morning you'll begin the drive back to Ulaanbaatar. The tour includes a stop to shop for Mongolian cashmere, and you have the option to end the tour at this point if that works for your schedule.
