- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi and check into your hotel in the city center. There's no organized meals today, but your guide can point you toward the best spots for trying authentic pho or other Vietnamese dishes. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace and get a feel for the city.

- Day 2
Hanoi
This day takes you through Hanoi's countryside and cultural history. You'll visit a bonsai-making family along the Red River, then check out tropical fruits at a local wet market and relax by a lotus lake. Next comes the Co Loa Ancient Citadel, built around 200 BC. After lunch, head back to the city to see Huu Tiep Lake and the B-52 aircraft from the Vietnam War, then walk around Hoan Kiem Lake in the Old Quarter. The day wraps up with a scenic cyclo ride through the city center.

Hanoi to Lan Ha Bay
You're heading to Lan Ha Bay for a cruise adventure. After boarding your vessel and settling in, you'll have fresh seafood for lunch while sailing into the bay. The afternoon includes a trip to the Tra Bau area where you can kayak around limestone islands or swim in the water. There's a Vietnamese spring roll cooking demonstration on board, sunset viewing from the top deck, and dinner back on the ship.

Lunch comes back on the boat, and then you'll kayak or swim in calm lagoon waters. Back on board, you'll learn a new spring roll technique in a cooking class before dinner.

After returning to the cruise for brunch, you'll fly to Danang and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An for the afternoon and evening to explore on your own.

Hoi An
Start with a welcome drink at a café, then explore Hoi An's bustling market full of colors, sounds, and local vendors. Next you'll take a relaxing 25-minute boat ride down the Hoi An River on the Red Bridge boat. At Red Bridge Cooking School, you'll tour the herb garden and do a 2-hour hands-on cooking class learning Hoi An specialties. Lunch features the dishes you prepared, and then you head back to your hotel for free time in the afternoon.

Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City
You'll leave Hoi An and fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is open for exploring this dynamic commercial hub with its modern skyscrapers and lively streets, along with its serene pagodas and temples where incense fills the air.

- Day 9
Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta
Travel to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta, known as Vietnam's coconut kingdom. You'll take a motorized rickshaw to explore the local coconut industry, seeing charcoal production and coconut dessert making at Phong Nam. Then ride along Chet Say Canal watching coconuts being transferred by boat while sipping fresh coconut water. Visit Nhon Thanh to see traditional mat weaving and have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, glide through coconut groves on a sampan boat along small canals, then return to Ho Chi Minh City with a stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda.
