Sedona to Grand Canyon
Head out to Sedona's artists' colony first, where you'll see the red rock formations up close. From there, the drive takes you to the Grand Canyon, and you'll have time to relax at the public seating areas with views out over the canyon. Lake Powell to Springdale (Zion Gateway)
This day involves quite a bit of driving through some beautiful terrain. You'll cross Marble Canyon on the historic Navajo Bridge, which sits 467 feet above the Colorado River. After passing through Vermillion Cliffs National Monument and the Kaibab Plateau with a stop in Jacob Lake, you'll end up in Springdale, which is the main gateway town for Zion National Park.
