- Day 1
Rio de Janeiro
You'll get picked up at Rio de Janeiro International Airport and driven to your hotel, which takes about 22 km. From there, the rest of the day is open for you to do what you want. Wander around the city streets or head to one of Rio's beaches like Copacabana or Ipanema if you're in the mood for sand and water.

Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, you'll start your sightseeing tour at Corcovado Mountain to see Christ the Redeemer. Next, you'll take the cable car up Sugarloaf Mountain for views over Rio and Guanabara Bay. Then it's on to Old Rio's Cultural Corridor before heading back to your hotel for the evening.

Rio de Janeiro to Foz do Iguazu
You'll get picked up for a flight to Iguazu, then after landing and checking into your hotel, you'll head out in the afternoon to see Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side. If you're interested, the Iguazu Bird Park is nearby where you can see parrots, toucans, and other tropical birds.

Argentina
After breakfast, you'll cross into Argentina and drive about an hour to Iguazu Park. You'll get close to the falls and see Devil's Throat, which is really dramatic. Later, after grabbing lunch, you'll take a Gran Aventura zodiac boat tour to see the falls from the water before heading back to your hotel.

You'll be taken to the airport for a flight to Manaus with a connection through São Paulo. You'll handle the São Paulo connection on your own, then meet your guide at Manaus airport and transfer to your hotel to settle in.

Amazon Rainforest Lodge
Your Amazon adventure kicks off with a drive to the lodge and welcome drinks when you arrive. In the afternoon, you'll take a motorboat out to check out the Amazon. Meals are included during your stay, and after dinner you'll go on a night tour with your guide to see nocturnal animals.

You'll trek through the rainforest with your guide, who'll point out rare animals, plants, and insects along the way. Back at the lodge, you'll have free time in the afternoon to swim or kayak in safe areas, both really good ways to get a feel for the Amazon.

After breakfast, you'll head to Manaus Airport for a flight to Brasilia, then you'll arrange your own connection to Salvador de Bahia. Once you land, you'll be picked up and taken to your hotel to check in.

Salvador de Bahia
After breakfast, you'll check out Salvador de Bahia's upper town, starting with Pelourinho, a UNESCO site and the largest baroque architecture complex in South America with striking black and white streets. Following lunch, you'll head to the lower town to see the Church of Nosso Senhor do Bonfim from 1745, which is the most famous Catholic church in the city, then return to your hotel.
