Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari kicks off early with a pickup from Arusha, then you'll drive about 2-3 hours into Tarangire National Park. Once there, you spend the full day roaming the savannahs and checking out the Tarangire River where you'll see giant baobab trees, massive elephant herds, lions, giraffes, and zebras. Over 500 bird species live in the park too, so you'll have plenty to spot throughout the day. After a picnic lunch inside the park, you head back to your lodge or campsite for dinner and rest.

- Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After early breakfast you depart Tarangire and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From there, you descend 600 meters down into the crater itself, where over 25,000 animals roam including elephants, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, endangered black rhinos, and lions. You'll do a half-day game drive and have a picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Later in the afternoon you ascend back up the crater rim and drive to Arusha, arriving early in the evening.
